Mystery girl
Lost in the fog of every airport--
You smile mystified; when I come closer one step,
but never enough close.
You heave a sigh, careless like ever before;
and smile again before you close your eyes,
and feel the wind brushing against your skin.
If only the wind were--
but,
never mind my lips;
would always echo your name.
You are a poetry that bleeds, in a world;
Of paper thin and paper frail.
You are something pure and something real
and something rare;
that is what counts,
and you were you; before you ever came to be a
mystery
girl--
And I believe you still are you,
after what now
you have become.

Neon joke (P.s: I love you grasshopper)
Neon joke
Crack a neon joke aye sleepy head, I miss you
and the long drives home round the quiet cul-de-sac
Mama loves you, just don't die yet
Kiss me on the cheek blue citrus scent.
Steering wheel and daisy strings,
Do you remember when I saw you cry,
sitting on a swing set a seventeen year old
wetting my new T-shirt, with her wet old tears?
Jupiter girl, read me Fault In Our Stars
Get me through this labyrinth of suffering
wherever you are.
Skyscrapers and coffeehouse,
Messy hair hunched over my coffee couch;
Bake me your sweet sweet cupcakes that once
you learnt from a neighbor to bake,
when you were fifteen.
Make me a paper plane aye mammothrept,
silly restless girl.
Tell me I love you,
Tell them you love the grasshopper.

Travelogue
There's a travelogue-
I keep safe with me,
only that the invisible light can touch.
I feel free to reveal myself-
but then you are you,
and I am I.
Now here, down as we pass by the city lights;
we right all the wrongs,
and wrong all the rights.
The force of the wind too goes quite strong enough;
Strong enough, to onto my face blow my hair
and for you to notice not it, but my eyes-
aglow in the softness of the night.
All else will melt in morning darkness,
but this night I promise; would become a memory.
By the time the sun rises, I would not disappear-
but as it does, I eventually would have to leave.
If because one leaves, it becomes easier for the other-
and once you leave, leaving becomes the easiest thing.
So here; I interlace my blue finger with yours,
I tell you everything would be uglier up close,
if it were not (but) love-
You'd think I would want to be found,
but it wouldn't be I who would want to be found;
it would be just you wanting to find me.
